Apple & Blackberry Toffee Crumble

Today, I’m convinced that spring has sprung!

Yesterday was so grim and murky that I decided to celebrate the fact that the sunshine MUST be just around the corner by making one last winter pudding for supper. This is an apple and blackberry (picked and frozen in the Autumn) crumble, with some Dulche De Leche thrown in for good measure. I added some fabulous Rude Health Fruity Date Porridge to the topping. The Dulche De Leche dolloped between the fruit and the topping was peeking through, caramelised with gorgeous chewy pieces of date.

A fitting farewell to winter I think.
